Qualifications

  • 5+ years of substantive civil litigation experience
  • Employment litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle depositions, written discovery, and motion practice
  • Strong legal research, legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned matters and work effectively with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage substantive aspects of civil litigation cases from discovery through resolution
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, including developing deposition strategy and preparing witnesses
  • Draft, respond to, and manage written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis involving civil, employment, business, and commercial disputes
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, conferences, and other litigation proceedings
  • Analyze pleadings, contracts, employment agreements, discovery materials, and other case-related documents
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues while independently managing assigned matters
  • Track case calendars, litigation deadlines, and case strategy across multiple matters
  • Exercise sound legal judgment and maintain a high standard of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Salary Range: $110K-$120K | Bonus eligible

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8:30-5

Required: 5+ years of substantive civil litigation experience
