A civil engineering firm in Barnegat Township is seeking an Associate Engineer to develop and draft civil engineering designs. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and have 2 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering design. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; willingness to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license is needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs for site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and surveyors to deliver solutions tailored to client needs.
• Create engineering reports and feasibility studies to support project design.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and verify design implementation.
