Job summary
The City of Carson is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer with a California PE license and at least five years of civil engineering experience. The role focuses on planning and coordinating capital improvement projects, with hands-on design and construction inspection duties.

Qualifications
- Valid California PE license required.
- Five years of professional civil engineering experience.
- BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- Experience with CIP/capital improvement projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate capital improvement projects.
- Perform professional engineering duties in design and construction inspection.
- Engage with public agencies on CIP projects.
- Experience with street improvements, traffic signals, stormwater, sewers; ROW considerations.
- Prepare reports and coordinate with stakeholders.
