Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Associate Civic Principal to guide the Civic sector in the Great Plains region from Minnesota. This role focuses on developing a client base, leading pursuits, and directing project teams across community-focused projects.

You will foster relationships, coordinate design teams, and mentor staff while advancing HDR’s mission of resilient, sustainable built environment solutions. This is a client-facing, leadership position within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great work and develop professional networks.
• Grow your craft and aspire to the role of Civic Principal within our practice.
• Engage in business development, lead pursuits, and direct project teams.
• Maintain project oversight and ensure conformance to client expectations, quality, cost and schedule.
• Provide mentorship and collaborate with Civic subject matter experts on industry engagement.
