Job description

Chiropractor — Monarch Bay Practice Opportunity

Location: Monarch Bay, California

Dr. Scott is looking for a chiropractor to join an established in-person practice at the Monarch Bay location.

This opportunity is a good fit for a chiropractor who wants to build or grow a patient base within an existing clinical environment. An established book of business is not required, although candidates who already have patients they would like to bring to the practice are welcome to do so.

The practice provides existing infrastructure to support patient growth, and the incoming chiropractor is not required to personally fund marketing as a condition of the role.

The Monarch Bay office offers:

• Additional treatment rooms
• An on-site or affiliated massage therapist for appropriate cross-referrals
• Supplements available in the office for patient use or sale
• Existing practice and patient-acquisition systems
• Opportunities to collaborate with Dr. Scott

Dr. Scott has particular expertise in muscle testing and Applied Kinesiology, which is part of the practice’s clinical approach.

Clinical Backgrounds of Interest

The practice is especially interested in chiropractors with training or experience in one or more of the following:

• Active Release Techniques (ART)
• Soft-tissue and myofascial techniques
• Sports chiropractic and sports rehabilitation
• Active care and corrective exercise
• Prenatal chiropractic care
• Craniosacral therapy
• Functional movement and biomechanical assessment
• Rehabilitation and return-to-activity care

Experience with therapeutic laser, StemWave, shockwave, acoustic-wave, or similar recovery and rehabilitation technologies is also of interest.

Candidates do not need to specialize in every modality listed. The ideal chiropractor combines strong adjusting skills with one or more complementary clinical specialties.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a chiropractor who:

• Works well in a collaborative clinical environment
• Has training or strong interest in one or more of the specialty areas above
• Is comfortable with active care, rehabilitation, soft-tissue work, and integrative chiropractic approaches
• Can appropriately educate patients about treatment plans, home care, supplements, and additional cash-pay services when clinically relevant

Existing patients are welcome but not required.

Compensation

Compensation is expected to be based primarily on a percentage-of-collections model, allowing earnings to grow with the chiropractor’s patient volume and production.

For the right candidate, an hourly compensation structure may be available during the initial start-up period while the chiropractor becomes established within the practice.

Specific percentages, hourly rates, transition timing, and final terms will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Professional Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an appropriately accredited chiropractic institution
• Current, active, unrestricted California chiropractic license, or eligibility to obtain the required license
• Competency in examination, assessment, treatment planning, chiropractic adjusting, and clinical documentation
• Strong patient communication and education skills
• Appropriate professional liability/malpractice coverage as required by the final working arrangement
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care

Postgraduate training or certifications in Applied Kinesiology, ART, prenatal care, sports rehabilitation, soft-tissue methods, nutrition, craniosacral therapy, laser, StemWave, or related areas are highly desirable.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to build or grow a chiropractic practice within an established Monarch Bay clinical setting rather than starting from scratch.

The incoming chiropractor will have access to treatment space, parking, complementary massage therapy, supplements, existing practice systems, and collaboration with Dr. Scott.
