Tal Healthcare seeks an Associate Chief of Behavioral Health Ambulatory Services, Psychiatry, to lead outpatient adult psychiatric programs in a multi-cultural urban setting. You will oversee clinics, ACT programs, and innovative initiatives while mentoring residents within an academic department.

The role requires an MD or DO with board certification in psychiatry, NY license, and at least 5 years in ambulatory care leadership.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in psychiatry.
• New York State medical license, DEA, and Medicaid number.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in outpatient psychiatric care with leadership in ambulatory care settings.
• Experience with residency training, medical education, and academic settings is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead outpatient adult mental health services, including clinics and ACT programs.
• Manage program development and ensure clinical quality across ambulatory services.
• Oversee implementation of Bridge to Home and Women’s Mental Health initiatives integrated with OB/GYN.
• Serve as Associate Program Director for the psychiatry residency program, supporting education and training.
• Collaborate with hospital administration, faculty, and community partners to optimize service delivery.
• Participate in strategic planning, resource allocation, and staff development.
