Job summary

Organic Valley is seeking an Associate CALF Team Member for the Cashton facility, working 3 PM–11 PM, Monday through Friday. You will support the conversion and labeling lines for Ghee and cheese products, maintain sanitation, and operate equipment with safety and accuracy.

This hourly role includes a 3% annual bonus, shift premiums, and a comprehensive benefits package. The team emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Assist with general plant cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Associate CALF Team Member - Shift D (3 PM - 11 PM, Mon - Fri)

Location: Cashton Conversion & Labeling Facility (CALF)

Pay Grade: 6

Employee Type: Hourly

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for a 3% annual bonus incentive based on cooperative and individual performance.

Summary of Role

The Conversion and Labeling Facility Production Team Member is responsible for all aspects of the conversion of products on our Ghee, Deli Cheese and Cheese shreds production lines. This position will also be responsible for the sanitation of the production areas and machines, on a rotating basis. This is a safety sensitive role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • -Follow all SOP’s to ensure proper conversion of products.
  • -Operate all equipment with a strong attention to detail.
  • -Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Regulations.
  • -Set up of all equipment on any production line.
  • -Follow quality standards to ensure our customers receive exceptional products.
  • -Pack products in boxes and palletize.
  • -Work safely and follow safety requirements.
  • -Ensure that all necessary information is properly documented.
  • -Clean and Sanitize production equipment and room when necessary.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • -Assist with general plant cleaning as needed.
  • -Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • -Ability to occasionally bend, twist/turn, and reach above shoulders throughout the shift as needed.

Base salary range: $18.21 per hour - $21.42 per hour

The typical hourly wage for a new hire is$18.21 per hour exclusive of fringe benefits. This position also receives a $2.00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 6pm and 12am, a $3.00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 12am and 6am and this position receives a $2.00 per hour shift premium on Saturdays and Sundays.If you are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage range is not typical.
