Job summary

Uline, North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking an Associate Buyer to help keep our branches stocked to meet growing customer demand. You will analyze inventory, place replenishment orders, and cultivate solid vendor relationships while collaborating with internal teams across locations.

A bachelor's degree (supply chain preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; supply chain major preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with purchase orders and inventory control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, calculate and monitor inventory levels on select product lines.
• Place purchase orders based on replenishment needs.
• Develop and maintain good vendor relations.
• Resolve problems, reconcile vendor returns and expedite order deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal departments when vendor issues arise.
• Partner with other team members to support Uline's regional locations.
