Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Engagement Duration: ASAP through February 2026

Tatum is seeking an entry-level to junior Buyer for an immediate contract engagement supporting a leading manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for daily procurement, purchase order (PO) generation, and supply chain tracking for production line operations. Operating 100% on-site, the successful candidate will ensure the continuous flow of raw materials and packaging components necessary to keep plant operations running smoothly.

• Procurement & Sourcing: Purchase raw materials, additives, fluids, and production line components (e.g., bottles, caps, packaging) to support manufacturing schedules.
• PO Management & Data Entry: Issue, track, and manage purchase orders with high data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytics & Tracking: Utilize MS Excel to analyze purchasing patterns, track material delivery timelines, and monitor order status.
• Plant Operations Support: Coordinate daily with plant leadership, inventory, and production teams to maintain seamless supply chain continuity.
• Vendor & Order Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with suppliers via MS Outlook to ensure timely delivery of production supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Entry-level purchasing experience or 1–3 years as a Buyer/Procurement Assistant in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel (data analysis, spreadsheets) and MS Outlook.
• Systems Experience: Familiarity with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems; direct experience with JD Edwards is a major plus.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional numerical accuracy, strong analytical capabilities, and dependable data entry skills.
• Logistics: Ability to work a full-time, 100% on-site schedule (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
