The role focuses on learning the sourcing process and supporting value-driven procurement across the enterprise, with emphasis on vendor identification and management. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in a related field and at least 1 year in procurement or logistics, with strong data skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, economics, or related field.
• 1+ years of procurement, data management, purchasing, strategic supply chain services, sourcing methods or logistics.
• Recent graduates with supply chain/procurement internship experience considered.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite Applications and ERP systems.

• Operationalize a documented sourcing process with buyers and leadership partners.
• Deliver value while communicating timelines, developing project approaches, and generating buy-in.
• Conduct hands-on data collection supporting category sourcing and performance measurements.

• Support Supply Chain communications across the organization.

We're seeking an Associate Buyer to join our Procurement /Supply Chain team in Philadelphia, PA. The Associate Buyer will be responsible for the learning process and supporting value-driven sourcing across our entire enterprise. The ideal candidate must be motivated by challenges and driven for success in all facets of sourcing from vendor identification, to vendor management.

*Must reside in or near Philadelphia, PA to accommodate a hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities:

• Work with Buyers, operations, project managers, and leadership business partners to operationalize a documented sourcing process
• Deliver value to the organization while supporting business needs, communicating timelines, developing project approaches, and generating buy-in
• Conduct hands-on data collection that supports category sourcing approaches and performance measurements
• Work on our ERP solutions (Entrata and Epicor), bidding software (Prokuria), and other platforms to ensure data is maintained accurately and timely
• Support the Supply Chain team with organization-wide communications
• Build a strong relationship with internal stakeholders, company leadership, and vendors so that we continue to build durable Supply Chain organizational support and integration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in the delivery and management of procurement, data management, purchasing, strategic supply chain services, sourcing methods, and/or logistics
• Will consider recent graduates with supply chain/procurement internship experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP) and experience maintaining ERP systems
