AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking an entry-level software analyst to perform analyses and implement software solutions to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible products under senior guidance. You will gain exposure to software development, data integration, and infrastructure environments.

The role focuses on following technical protocols, learning new methods, documenting work, and contributing to project time and cost estimates, while adhering to corporate and GxP standards.

• Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work products.
• Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.

Job Description

Perform analyses and implement software solutions to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible products in a timely manner, under the direction of a more senior leader. Demonstrate technical precision and possess good understanding of software development, data integration, and infrastructure environments, including one or more of servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments.

• Consult literature and publicly available information to understand purpose of assignments.

• Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job functions.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g.,Python, Java, .Net, etc.)

Preferred

• IT Internship experience or Co-op experience in manufacturing or Pharma industry desirable
• Project or practice hands-on experience utilizing agentic workflows, LLMs and other automations
• Experience using tools likeGit
