Farella Braun + Martel LLP seeks a skilled and highly qualified litigation associate with twoto fiveyears of general litigation experience to join our nationally recognized business litigation practice.The candidate should have a high level of academic achievement from a highly ranked law school, strong legal writing skills and related experience.Previous experience as a judicial clerk is strongly preferred but not required.

Our Business Litigation Group represents clients such as Google, Nestlé, Adobe, Visa, Dell, and L’Oréal in disputes across Northern California and nationwide. Our associates gain early, hands‑on responsibility in case strategy, depositions, motion practice, client counseling, and trial work. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $222,500 and $290,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience and professional skills required for this role. Additional compensation may include discretionary hours‑based and additional bonuses, health/welfare benefits, vacation and leave time (including parental and sabbatical), and paid holidays.

In‑person attendance and collaboration enable us to provide excellent client service and is critical to an Associate’s professional development. This position requires working a minimum 3 days on average in the San Francisco office.
