Unilever in Rogers, Arkansas seeks an Associate Business Development Manager to drive growth opportunities for the Walmart Customer Team, influence financial decisions, and partner with Sales, Demand Planning, and Analysts to deliver value.

You will analyze ROI, support Joint Business Plans, forecast accuracy, and contribute to go-to-market initiatives while upholding Unilever's profitability and strategic health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years of related customer business experience
• Deep understanding of the P&L, retail math, analytics, financial/strategic modeling, forecasting
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task & prioritize
• Problem solving, solid judgment, and decision making ability, and can deal with ambiguity
• In-depth knowledge of Excel, Retail Link, Tableau, SAP, SAS, Nielsen

Job description

As the Associate Business Development Manager (ABDM) you will play a key role in driving growth opportunities, influencing sound financial decisions, and solving business issues. The focus of the position is to serve as key support for the Walmart Customer Team and key stakeholders within Unilever.

You will report directly to the Business Development Manager and will work closely with Customer Business Managers, Sales Analysts, and Demand Planners to achieve our goals. This role is vital to the success of our Walmart business and will help ensure our strategic/financial heath as a Sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize ROI of investment activities through detailed analysis to improve sales, trade spend, product mix, efficiency, etc.
• Support fully integrated business planning process for customer team such as Joint Business Plan and internal planning requirements
• Engineer new capabilities that assess different business models in order to maximize customer and retailer profitability and value creation
• Work with Customer Business Managers to develop and execute programs consistent with brand strategy and customer Joint Business Planning.
• Drive forecast integrity/accuracy through understanding of business drivers and macro/micro economic trends and insights.
• Support Sector efforts and recommendations for all Go-To-Market, business planning, and business systems excellence initiatives and governance.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Marketing required, MBA preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of related customer business experience including proven success in an analytical role in which you added value to the organization
• Deep understanding of the P&L, retail math, analytics, financial/strategic modeling, forecasting, etc
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task & priority.
• Problem Solving, possess solid judgment, and decision making ability, and can deal with ambiguity.
• In depth knowledge of excel, retail link, tableau, SAP, SASS, Nielsen

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
