Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Business Operations Analyst to research and analyze the performance of business operations across departments. The role involves gathering, organizing and reviewing data to support planning activities and ensure processes are integrated and effective under supervision.

Responsibilities include evaluating data to identify operational improvements, producing KPIs, and contributing to reports that drive performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• College/university degree or 1-2 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning and analysis
• Familiarity with data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research
• Research, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Skill in solving routine or standard administrative, operational and/or system problems and issues
• Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate business data to identify solutions to operational problems, using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to perform data analysis, review system data, and/or measure processes
• Conduct analyses and reporting in support of general business operations and planning activities as requested
• Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units and compatibility with organizational strategic goals
• Document business processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Contribute to and create reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems and value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance
