Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a full-time field-based courier/delivery worker in New York to sort interoffice mail, receive and deliver medication and supplies, and transport medical equipment. The role requires driving a box truck, lifting up to 50 lbs, and travel up to 75% within NY and domestically.

Flexible 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $25.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including 401k and stock options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
• Valid NY Driver's License
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Experience transporting furniture / equipment
• Experience driving a Box truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willing to drive and make deliveries within NY City and travel up to 75% domestically
• Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (overtime may be needed)

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

• Responsible for Sorting interoffice mail
• Distribute mail and cover mail routes as needed
• Receive, sort and deliver medication & supplies
• Delivering medical equipment & office furniture
• Must be willing to drive up to 75% of the time
• Performs other duties as assigned
