Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks an Associate Broker to join our Chicago brokerage team. The role emphasizes supporting senior brokers in business development, preparing property summaries, and creating client presentations.

You will engage in market research and learn to evaluate leases and deal economics. The role includes training through JLL University and direct interaction with owners and executives as part of a collaborative, growth-focused environment in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate or B2B sales is required.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
• State Real Estate License within 90 days of hire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend JLL University (13-week training) to develop broker skills.
• Support senior brokers in business development and outreach to new leads (cold calls, emails).
• Prepare available property summary books and create new business presentations.
• Develop client materials (lease comparisons, market overviews, pitches).
• Shadow senior brokers in negotiation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Provide market research and financial modeling support.

A successful candidate must be articulate; detail-oriented and can directly interface with key client representatives.* Attend JLL University (“JLLU”) which is a 13-week training, development, and networking program specifically for our new Associate Brokers.* Support the senior brokers in initiating business development activities and taking initiative to outreach to new leads (cold calls, warm calls, emails, etc.)* Work with senior brokers on new business proposals, prepare available property summary books and create new business presentations.* Work with senior brokers to develop materials for clients (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect, or client presentations).* Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation.* Provide clients with industry and market specific information as it relates to their business and maintain contact information on prospects.* Contribute to designated local market research requests: market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities.* Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models.**Interested?
