Job summary

Burns & Wilcox is seeking an Associate Broker to manage a portion of a Broker’s book, focusing on renewals and growth. You will prepare market submissions, nurture client and agent relationships, and help implement marketing plans to win new and renewal business.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of broker support experience, with a track record in sales and organization. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Broker and supervise a portion of a Broker’s book of business, focused on, but not limited to renewals
• Prepare submissions for markets and secure quotes
• Maintain excellent client and agent relationships
• Assist Brokers to develop and execute marketing plans to drive new and renewal business, including in-person agency visits, telemarketing and distributing marketing materials
• Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract terms
• Mentor and train Assistant Brokers as needed
