Job summary

SC Johnson seeks an Associate Brand Manager for Home Cleaning equity to shape the next generation of Mr Muscle, Windex and Drano across international markets. You’ll partner with markets, agencies and the Marketing Innovation team to build global brands with local relevance.

Role combines brand strategy, equity and innovation, with a focus on consumer-informed growth and cross-cultural collaboration across regions. Remote work is available one day per week for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years and an advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience distilling consumer insights into meaningful and differentiated brand strategies.
• Experience working on creative development, brand equity, innovation or integrated marketing programs.
• Prior FMCG/CPG experience preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Brand Manager, Home Cleaning - Equity will help shape the next generation of Mr Muscle, Windex and Drano across international markets. These are iconic brands with strong equities and enormous potential to connect with the next generation of consumers. We are looking for someone passionate about brand building, exploration and reinvention.

This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, equity and innovation. You will help build strong brand foundations that can travel globally while remaining relevant to consumers locally. You will partner closely with markets, agencies and the Marketing Innovation team to identify where our brands can stretch next into new adjacencies, categories and consumer needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help shape and activate the international brand equity and strategy for Mr Muscle, Windex and Drano.
• Build strong brand foundations that enable our brands to stretch into new adjacencies and consumer needs, defining where each brand has the right to play and how its equity can unlock growth.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Innovation team to translate brand foundations into innovation strategies and roadmaps.
• Bring our brands to new and younger audiences, finding relevant ways to connect through culture.
• Partner with markets and agencies to develop assets that can travel globally while remaining locally relevant.
• Build strong relationships across Asia, Europe and Latin America, embracing different cultures, consumer behaviors and ways of communicating to make our global brands stronger.
• Champion the consumer, translating insights and cultural understanding into growth.
• Work across markets to identify what is working, learn fast, scale winners and improve our brands.
• Lead and influence across different markets, cultures and time zones.
• Operate with a high degree of ownership and empowerment, challenging established ways of working and making things happen.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years and an advanced degree.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

• Demonstrated experience distilling consumer insights into meaningful and differentiated brand strategies.
• Experience working on creative development, brand equity, innovation or integrated marketing programs.
• Prior experience executing complex projects, adapting precedent and developing new solutions.
• Global experience / exposure is ideal, but not required. Curiosity and enthusiasm for working across Asia, Europe and Latin America are important.
• Prior FMCG / CPG experience preferred.
