Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Brand Experience Specialist to flawlessly execute company events and tradeshows nationwide and internationally. You will coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to ensure the company is presented positively and events run smoothly.

The role requires up to 20% travel, in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday with Fridays remote, and support for the marketing team and retail merchandising program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 2-5 years event or tradeshow management experience.
  • Proficiency with Office systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute internal and external events and tradeshows with maximum ROI.
  • Coordinate event details with Sales, Marketing and Product teams.
  • Work with exhibit services and vendors to ship materials on time.
  • Develop and maintain the company merchandising program.
  • Budget tracking and cost optimization for events and tradeshows.
  • Schedule internal and external events in collaboration with department managers.
  • Assist in training space organization with Product Management and Admin teams.

Description

Reporting to the Director of Brand Experience, the Brand Experience Specialist will ensure flawless execution of all company events and tradeshows both Nationally as well as Internationally. This person will communicate clearly and coordinate all event details with Sales, Marketing and Product Management team members so that execution of the events run smoothly and the company is shown in a positive manner. This person will provide additional support to the Marketing team and assist in managing the company’s retail merchandising program.

This role requires the willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

This position requires in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

You have already accomplished (required):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 2-5 years Event or Tradeshow Management
  • Proficiency using Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
You may have already accomplished (preferred):
  • CRM Systems knowledge
  • Experience providing direction to contractors and vendors
  • Experience with international travel
  • Knowledge or and experience with all aspects of tradeshow practice and/or event marketing, lead generation, etc.

Key Job Duties:
  • Manage and execute internal and external events and tradeshows effectively with maximum ROI
  • Communicate with key personnel regarding event and tradeshow dates
  • Coordinate event details with teams to ensure events are fully covered from top to bottom
  • Work with exhibit services and external vendors to ensure all necessary product, displays and relevant equipment is shipped to shows on time
  • Develop, implement and maintain all aspects of our merchandising program
  • Coordinate ordering, inventorying and distributing retail merchandising displays
  • Work with Marketing and Operations team to maintain budget parameters and best unit costs
  • Work with department managers to schedule internal and external events and tradeshows
  • Develop calendar of events and work closely with Marketing Director to budget and track actual expenses related to trade shows and events
  • Support the organization and maintenance of internal training spaces in conjunction with the Product Management and Administrative teams
