Stern & Eisenberg PC is seeking an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney to manage bankruptcy case portfolios from assignment to closure. The role supports drafting pleadings, reviewing filings, and appearing in court across a hybrid/remote setup with possible work from PA, NJ, NY, or DE offices.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of bankruptcy experience, strong writing and collaboration skills, and is admitted to NJ (PA or NY a bonus). Superior organizational abilities are essential.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Associate Bankruptcy Attorney FLSA Status: Exempt
Supervisor: Managing Bankruptcy Attorney Direct Reports: None
Licensed Attorneys are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Firm’s bankruptcy and lending client case portfolios from assignment to conclusion. Stern & Eisenberg offers a highly competitive salary structure, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a hybrid / remote position with the ability to physically work from any of the Firm’s regional offices in PA, NJ, NY or DE. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 3 years of bankruptcy experience, including drafting and reviewing pleadings and appearing in court. Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000K ++, Based on experience
Benefit: An origination incentive of 20% offered for any additional business brought into S&E.
