Position Overview: This is a trainee sales position in the saw industry market. If you are mechanically inclined and looking to grow your career in technical sales, this could be the perfect opportunity. You will operate within your territory under the supervision of the Sales Training & Development Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Work a territory in the saw industry market under supervision.
  • Complete the established sales training program.
  • Shadow existing Bandsaw Specialists to observe the sales process.
  • Familiarize yourself with the sales process by calling on existing customer accounts.
  • Participate in sales calls with existing customers.
  • Identify new accounts and grow existing accounts within the territory post-training.
  • Support bandsaw product field testing as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or technical diploma preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a trade preferred.
  • Self-starter and quick learner capable of adapting to change.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear explanation and active listening.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Tenacity to achieve goals.
  • Flexible, conscientious, decisive, persistent, patient, energetic, self-motivated.
  • Ability to travel within the territory up to 50%.
