This is a trainee sales position in the saw industry market. If you are mechanically inclined and looking to grow your career with a technical sales position, this will be the perfect fit for you. You will operate within your given territory, under direct supervision of the Sales Training & Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Under supervision and direction of the Sales Training & Development Manager, work a territory in the saw industry market.
  2. Learn the sales process by completing the established training program.
  3. Observe the sales process by shadowing existing Bandsaw Specialists.
  4. Learn and familiarize yourself with the sales process by calling on existing customer accounts.
  5. Participate in sales calls with existing customers.
  6. Help identify new accounts and grow existing accounts within the territory as completion of training.
  7. Support bandsaw product field testing, within territory or region as needed.
  8. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. Associate’s degree or technical diploma Preferred
  2. 2-3 years in a trade preferred
  3. Self-starter and fast learner who can adapt to an ever-changing environment
  4. Strong technical skills
  5. Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly and listen to the feedback of customers
  6. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  7. Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
  8. Tenacity to drive results and achieve established goals
  9. Flexible, conscientious, decisive, persistent, patient, excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, self-motivated
  10. Ability to travel within the assigned territory, up to 50%
