Job summary

KBR is seeking an Associate AWS DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, security, and operation of AWS environments for mission-critical workloads. This hands-on, entry-level role collaborates with cloud, DevOps, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to advance cloud modernization.

You will gain exposure to Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and FinOps, while building practical experience in debugging, automation scripting, and security practices under guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of relevant cloud/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with IaC technologies (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and monitor AWS environments.
• Develop IaC and automation for deployment and security.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist with security, compliance, and incident response.
