Job summary

FORTÉ, Inc. seeks an AV installation support technician to assist with on-site installation of integrated audiovisual systems for client environments. You will work closely with customers and installers to ensure precise terminations, mounting, and wiring, delivering reliable performance.

Applicants should have experience in AV service or installation, low voltage work, and travel to sites. CTS or OSHA credentials are preferred, with opportunities to grow within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Experience in AV service or installation, low voltage, or security systems.
• Experience with cable terminations, soldering, and mounting.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of integrated AV technologies at client sites.
• Support delivery of high-quality customer service and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with teams to complete installations efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

You would support FORTÉ'sclients directly by assisting with installation of their integrated audio/visual technologies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

What You Bring to Assure Success:

• Previous experience in the service or installation audiovisual, low voltage, security systems, or closely related field
• Previous experience with cable terminations, soldering, and mounting
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
• AVIXA CTS Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred, or ability to complete within your first year of employment
• Experience in a construction environment preferred
