Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate, Automation Technical Support to test, install and maintain automation/SCADA systems across hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, and software. The role emphasizes regulatory adherence, SOP compliance and continuous improvement within our engineering function.

You will work a 12-hour rotating night shift on-site in Fort Worth, TX, with focus on quality control, documentation and staying current with automation tech trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, understanding and speaking English.

Associate, Automation Technical Support

Throughout your role you will apply technical expertise to test, install, and maintain automation/SCADA systems, including hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, communication, database, and software.

Specifics include:

• Apply technical knowledge to test, install, and maintain automation/SCADA systems, including input/output signal hardware, controllers, HMI, networks, communication, database, and software.
• Support project goals through effective task completion, following established procedures with some decision-making authority.
• Stay current with advances in automation and SCADA technologies.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation.
• Ensure rigorous quality control and complete all required training.
• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 3 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work Schedule: D shift; 12-hour rotating night shift; 4 nights on; 4 nights off; 6:00pm-6:00am
