Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
• 1–3 years of experience handling workers’ compensation matters (applicant-side strongly preferred).
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution.
• Represent injured workers in hearings, depositions, and mandatory settlement conferences before the WCAB.
• Draft pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and correspondence.
• Handle discovery, including depositions of parties and medical/legal experts.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to move cases forward efficiently.
