Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Spokane, WA seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will manage complex cases involving sexual assault, human trafficking, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death, working with senior attorneys to develop strategies and advocate for survivors in a trauma-informed manner.

Responsibilities include client meetings, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, trials, and mentoring junior staff. Requirements: J.D.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in required jurisdiction(s).
• 1+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from intake through trial.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Advocate for survivors with a client-centered approach.
• Collaborate with legal teams to build strong cases.
• Conduct client meetings and prepare them for litigation stages.
• Draft legal documents and conduct legal research.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions and trials.
• Identify and work with expert witnesses.
• Engage in mediation and settlement discussions.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with team members.
