Job summary

F3 Law invites you to join a dedicated transactional team in our Oakland, CA office. We seek a thoughtful associate with 3–10+ years of practice who is a member of the California State Bar to handle a broad range of transactional matters for public schools and independent institutions.

The incumbent will work on real estate transactions, leases, public contracting, construction procurement, and complex contract negotiations, contributing to a collegial, growth‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of practice experience in transactional law.
• Must be a member of the State Bar of California.

Responsibilities

Associate Attorney - Transactional

F3 Law provides legal support to the public schools that serve our children and communities. We have an opening for a lateral TransactionalAttorney in our Oaklandoffice who would like to help K-12 schools and community colleges navigate the broad range of operational legal issues they encounter.

The incumbent would provide transactional support on a broad range of substantive legal issues. Examples include real estate transactions, leases, public contracting matters, construction procurement, disputes, and a wide range of contract negotiations.

We seek a thoughtful attorney with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Candidates must have 3-10+ years of practice experience . Candidates must be a member of the State Bar of California.

This position's reasonably expected base salary range is $130,000 – $190,000 per year (DOE). The actual base salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
