Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions represents a global law firm with over 100 years of practice, seeking associates to join its Insolvency & Restructuring group in the NYC midtown office in a hybrid setting.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, committees, creditors and other constituents in Chapter 11 and related matters; NY Bar admission is required; top law school and AmLaw 200 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Must have a JD from an accredited law school; New York Bar admission in good standing.
• Top 50 law school graduate and AmLaw 200 law firm experience preferred.

Job description

Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. There are seeking associates to join its Insolvency & Restructuring practice at its NYC midtown office in a hybrid setting.

Main Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Between 2-4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate a record of high academic and professional excellence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities. The associate will work with attorneys across the firm.
• Responsibility as integral members of high-performing, collaborative teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing, is also required.
• Must have attended a top 50 law school & worked at an AmLaw 200 Law Firm

The expected salary for this position is $235,000 - $310,000, plus bonus - depending on experience. The firm offers a full range of benefits for employees and their eligible dependents.
