Job summary

Circle Surrogacy is seeking an Associate Attorney to support our legal team in handling cases for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors. You will draft contracts, review insurance policies, and help establish legal parentage rights, working in a dynamic, niche field of assisted reproductive technology.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while collaborating with IVF clinics, external attorneys, and Circle staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience collaborating in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Legal research on topics related to assisted reproductive technology and related IP, surrogate, donor relationships.
• Contract drafting and negotiating.
• Managing caseload from initial sign-on through delivery.
• Working directly with clients and third parties, such as IVF Clinics and outside attorneys, as well as Circle’s social workers, program coordinators, and trust accountants.
• Manage high email volume and respond within 48 business hours.
• Additional tasks such as helping other teams with projects, trainings, and insurance reviews/appeals.
