Job summary

Circle Surrogacy, part of the NorthStar Fertility family, seeks an Associate Attorney to support our legal team serving intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors.

You will draft contracts, review insurance contracts and policies, help establish legal parentage rights, and grow in a niche field of assisted reproductive technology while maintaining composure under pressure and delivering clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required with strong legal writing and research skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially in high-stress situations.
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced caseload while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research on assisted reproductive technology and related IP issues.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including gestational surrogacy or egg donation agreements when needed.
• Manage caseload from initial client sign-on through delivery and post-delivery follow-up.
• Collaborate with clients, IVF clinics, outside attorneys, and Circle team members such as social workers and accountants.
• Prioritize communications and respond within 48 business hours.
