• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Participate in trials, hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting public entities.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Representing public entities such as cities, counties, and special districts in litigation and advisory matters.


2. 2. Defending public entities in a variety of civil litigation matters including police litigation, land use, environmental law, constitutional law, and other municipal issues.


3. 3. Providing legal advice to public entities on a wide array of issues relating to their operations and governance.


4. 4. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs and other court filings.


5. 5. Conducting legal research and analysis to ensure the best legal strategies for our clients.


6. 6. Participating in trials, hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.


7. 7. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting public entities.

Qualifications
