Qualifications

• Background in plaintiff-side personal injury; medical malpractice and product liability are desirable.
• A valid J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution and admission to the California bar.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team on behalf of injured clients.
• Ability to work under a deadline in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle cases and case management tasks, including written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and trial work as second chair.
• Draft and argue motions and prepare for trial.
• Take and defend depositions and manage case strategy with senior attorneys.
• Engage empathetically with clients and maintain rapport throughout stressful proceedings.
