Speaks Law Firm in Wilmington, NC seeks a North Carolina Licensed Attorney with a passion for personal injury to join our legal team. The role focuses on analyzing evidence, drafting documents, and shaping case strategy for optimal client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active NC Bar Association member required.
• Two+ years of personal injury pre-litigation or litigation preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation and public speaking required.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interviewclients and witnesses, consultfield experts, and research statutes and case law
• Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions,pleadings, and other correspondence
• Collaborate with Senior Attorneys to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positions
• Resolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Participate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaigns

Qualifications:

• Active member ofNC Bar Association required
• Active member of SC Bar Association preferred
• Two (2) or more years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation or litigation preferred
• A willingness to learn and growwith our nationally recognized attorneys is a must
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
• Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking required
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required
• Experience with SmartAdvocateSoftware a plus
• Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required

Compensation

This is a full-time salary exempt position. Annual base salary plus commission depends on experience.
