Job summary

Foster Wallace is seeking an experienced attorney to manage a full-cycle personal injury caseload from pre-litigation through trial. This role includes collaboration with a team of trial attorneys and support technology to advance cases efficiently.

Applicants should have a J.D., Missouri bar status, and a minimum of four years in civil litigation, preferably in personal injury plaintiffs work. Kansas licensure or prompt ability to obtain it is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar licensure in Missouri; Kansas licensure or ability to obtain it promptly is strongly preferred
• Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience; personal injury plaintiff experience is preferred
• Comfortable managing an active docket independently from pre-litigation through trial
• Trial experience is a plus
• Client-focused; our clients are going through something hard and the attorneys who thrive here are the ones who take that seriously
• Self-directed and proactive; you take ownership of your cases and don't wait to be told what needs attention

Responsibilities

• Carry your own caseload of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters from investigation through resolution
• Work with an experienced trial team; you are backed by an entire team and technology built to move cases forward
• Collaborate closely with Partners and trial attorneys to drive cases to resolution
• Maintain attention to client care, quality work product, and work-life balance

Role Description

This is a full-cycle litigation role at a plaintiff personal injury firm that is growing intentionally and investing in the people who grow with it. You'll carry your own caseload of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury matters from investigation through resolution, with real support behind you every step of the way.
