The Law Offices of Campos & Associates seeks a Maryland-licensed attorney with 3+ years of experience in immigration court and state court defense. The attorney will file court pleadings, argue motions, appear in court, conduct trials, and communicate with clients.

The firm focuses on immigration and criminal defense for a predominantly immigrant client base, with Spanish language skills encouraged. Remote/hybrid work is possible for Maryland residents, with travel as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a MD barred attorney, (DC and VA a plus). Passion to work with the immigrant community is a must.

A successful candidate will execute court filings, draft pleadings and motions, appear in court, conduct trials, communicate with clients, conduct research, etc. In Immigration Court and State Court. We handle removal defense and misdemeanor criminal defense in State Court.

3+ years of experience. I am looking for a long-term relationship with the possibility of opening a partnership. I’m looking for an attorney that would like to concentrate in the practice of law while I concentrate in running the business.

ABOUT THE FIRM

A growing small law firm focusing in Immigration Law, Personal Injury and District Court Criminal Defense. We also work with some family matters. 90% of our clients are immigrants who mostly speak Spanish.

REQUIREMENTS

• MD bar. (DC and VA are a plus).
• Must be able to travel as needed
• A good lawyer with passion and enthusiasm to help those in need. Service and people-oriented attitude is essential. Initiative and goal-oriented work ethics are a must.
• 3-years’ experience litigating in court with family cases, criminal cases, personal injury and family law.
• Spanish is a PLUS but not required.

COMPENSATION

$80K/yr - $120K/yr Based on experience.

Remote work is an option if you live in Maryland as long as your court appearances and duties are fulfilled. We prefer a hybrid in-person/remote arrangement

Training will be provided but the candidate should be ready to tackle problems and have initiative solving issues.
