Hall Booth Smith, P.C.'s Tampa, FL office is growing and seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Long-Term Care practice. You will work alongside experienced litigators, contribute to case strategy and development, and build relationships with firm clients.

Candidates should have 0–5 years of insurance defense experience and Florida Bar in good standing. You will represent clients in hearings, trials, and depositions, perform research, draft pleadings, and collaborate with partners to execute

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 0–5 years of insurance defense experience
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong interest in attending trial and utilizing litigation skills
• Ability to develop and execute defense litigation strategies, exercise sound judgment, and effectively manage case responsibilities

Responsabilités

• Represent and defend clients in hearings, trials, and depositions
• Effectively communicate with clients about their cases, providing consistent updates and comprehensive legal advice
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare legal documents, and prepare and respond to discovery
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and other team members in building and executing successful defense strategies
• Participate in case strategy and development while working closely with experienced litigators
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with firm clients
