Genuine Search Group in Georgia partners with a full-service law firm to hire a Junior Associate to support Local Government and Real Estate practices in metro Atlanta. This is a great opportunity for an attorney transitioning from high-volume litigation to more focused, substantive responsibilities with direct client contact.

You will work with experienced attorneys on matters including representing cities and counties, zoning and land use, contract drafting, and litigation support.

Qualifications

• JD required and Georgia bar admission.
• Experience in local government or real estate preferred.
• Background in high-volume litigation is advantageous.
• Willingness to take on complex, substantive work.

Responsibilities

• Represent cities, counties, and local governments as city attorney, county attorney, or special counsel.
• Assist with zoning, land use, and condemnation matters.
• Draft contracts and municipal code provisions.
• Provide litigation support, including research, drafting, discovery, and motions.
