Genuine Search Group in Georgia partners with a full-service law firm to hire a Junior Associate to support Local Government and Real Estate practices in metro Atlanta. This is a great opportunity for an attorney transitioning from high-volume litigation to more focused, substantive responsibilities with direct client contact.

You will work with experienced attorneys on matters including representing cities and counties, zoning and land use, contract drafting, and litigation support.

Qualifications

• JD required and Georgia bar admission.
• Experience in local government or real estate preferred.
• Background in high-volume litigation is advantageous.
• Willingness to take on complex, substantive work.

Responsibilities

• Represent cities, counties, and local governments as city attorney, county attorney, or special counsel.
• Assist with zoning, land use, and condemnation matters.
• Draft contracts and municipal code provisions.
• Provide litigation support, including research, drafting, discovery, and motions.

We are partnered with a full-service Georgia law firm on a search for a Junior Associate to support its Local Government and Real Estate practices in metro Atlanta. This is a great opportunity for an attorney from a high-volume litigation background who wants a more focused and complex practice with substantive responsibilities and client contact.

The Opportunity:

You’ll work alongside experienced attorneys on matters that include:

• Representing cities, counties, and local governments as city attorney, county attorney, or special counsel
• Civil rights and constitutional claims, tort defense, and employment matters
• Zoning, land use, planning, and condemnation and eminent domain
• Contract negotiation and municipal code drafting
• Litigation support across these areas, including research, drafting, discovery, and motion practice

We're seeking an attorney who is ready to move from high-volume case handling to more specialized, complex work and interest in local government or real estate (prior exposure is a plus but not required).

• $110,000 – $140,000 base salary range + annual bonuses
• Firm-paid professional liability insurance, Georgia bar dues, and CLE costs
