Job summary

W3Global is seeking an attorney in Sacramento with 3–5 years of civil litigation or transactional experience to handle real cases with real responsibility. You will litigate, depose, draft contracts, and advise business clients while collaborating with senior attorneys down the hall.

You will be in court, not just near it, and must communicate clearly with clients who are not lawyers. This role requires California Bar admission and readiness to work on-site in our Sacramento office.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active California State Bar membership.
• 3–5 years civil litigation or transactional experience.
• Willingness to appear in court and handle trials.
• Ability to explain complex legal problems to clients.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as CLAUDE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle business and construction disputes from complaint through trial or settlement.
• Take and defend depositions, write and argue motions, and prepare cases for trial.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and other business agreements.
• Work directly with clients, including business owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Advise on the licensing, payment, and compliance questions that come up for businesses in California.
