We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our boutique litigation firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex litigation matters, providing legal advice and guidance, managing case strategy, and representing our clients in court. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in litigation, a strong understanding of the legal system, and an ability to work well under pressure. This position will require a high level of responsibility and autonomy, but will also provide opportunities for professional development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
• Develop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneys.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain detailed records of case proceedings and outcomes.
• Stay informed about current legislation and legal trends that may affect clients' cases.
• Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Participate in business development efforts, including networking events and client meetings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or construction litigation, with experience conducting depositions.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing case strategies.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• High level of professionalism, with a commitment to upholding legal and ethical standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
