The role offers exposure to high‑stakes commercial disputes across technology, energy, infrastructure, and finance.

The base salary range is $235,000 – $365,000 per year with a performance-based bonus opportunity aligned to Am Law100 benchmarks and an expected billable hours target of about 1,950 annually.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of general commercial litigation experience (JD class 2022‑2023 preferred).
• Admission to the Texas Bar or willingness to obtain admission.
• Academic GPA around 3.5 or higher with strong legal writing skills.
• Background in a top‑tier or well‑respected litigation practice.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation matters from case assessment through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and dispositive applications.
• Manage written discovery and document review strategies
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients, taking ownership of workstreams and case strategy
