Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation, particularly in the area of insurance defense, and will be responsible for handling cases from inception through trial. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable trial experience in district court.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of litigation cases
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records
• Engage with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Colorado
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance defense
• Strong understanding of courtroom procedures and district court rules
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
