Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Dallas seeks an experienced insurance defense attorney to defend insureds and carriers in general liability matters. You will manage cases from inception through resolution and handle motions, depositions, and expert coordination.

In-office four days a week with a $190,000 base salary, discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. A non-equity partner track is available for the right long-term fit.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong discovery, depositions, motion practice, and day-to-day case management skills.

• Defend insureds and carriers in general liability matters from inception to resolution.
• Manage cases through investigations, pleadings, discovery, and strategy.
• Draft and argue motions; conduct hearings and mediations as needed.
• Take depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate with experts.
• Maintain ongoing client and claims professional communication and reporting.

THE ROLE

• Defend insureds and carriers in general liability matters, including automobile and premises liability claims.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including investigations, pleadings, discovery, and case strategy.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions; handle hearings and mediations as needed.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate with experts.
• Maintain consistent client and claims professional communication, including reporting and case evaluations.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Schedule:

In office 4 days per week.

Compensation:

$190,000 base salary (USD).

REQUIREMENTS

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Demonstrated strength in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and day-to-day case management.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation docket with timely client communication and reporting.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Defense experience involving trucking and transportation, automobile liability, and premises liability matters.
• Stable employment history and a long-term practice orientation.
