The ideal candidate has experience with Indian tribes/entities or a strong interest in Indian Country, plus exposure to economic development, corporate governance, or outside general counsel work.

Qualifications include a J.D.

Competenze

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in DC.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• 2–5 years of relevant legal experience preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.

Mansioni

• Advising tribal governments and tribally owned businesses.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Providing outside general counsel services.
• Supporting economic development initiatives and regulatory matters.
