This is a strong opportunity for an experienced employee benefits lawyer to plug into a nationally integrated corporate platform and advise on sophisticated transactions for diverse businesses and organizations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of focused experience in employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Experience drafting and reviewing sophisticated corporate and transactional benefits documents.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in New York or eligibility to become admitted promptly.
• Ability to work independently in office 5 days per week with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review employee benefit plans, agreements, and compensation programs in connection with mergers and acquisitions
• Advise on design, implementation, and compliance of employee benefits and executive compensation arrangements
• Draft, revise, and negotiate sophisticated corporate and compensation related documents and ancillary deal materials
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously from inception to conclusion while delivering high quality, timely work product
• Collaborate with partners on business development and help deepen client relationships within the corporate services group

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced employee benefits lawyer to plug into a nationally integrated corporate platform and advise on sophisticated transactions for diverse businesses and organizations. You will work closely with senior partners, enjoy meaningful ownership of work product, and build a long term career in a growing New York office.
