Orion Placement is seeking a high-impact defense litigation attorney in Hammond, Indiana. You will independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish, attend hearings in various counties, and drive deadlines, case strategy, and next steps across active matters.

• 12+ years of relevant defense litigation experience.
• Deposition experience required.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Strong legal writing and ability to provide writing samples.
• Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Attend hearings in various counties and courthouses.
• Drive deadlines, case strategy, and next steps across active matters.
• Research statutes, rules, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategy.
• Assist with document review and case development as needed.
• Work across practice areas including insurance coverage, construction, bodily injury, professional malpractice, and mass torts.

Location

Note

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Indiana and have 12+ years of relevant litigation experience, including deposition experience.
