Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a consumer bankruptcy attorney to manage Chapter 7 matters from intake through discharge. You will counsel clients and represent them at 341 meetings, negotiating with creditors and handling related litigation. This role offers a hybrid schedule with two remote days per week after onboarding.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with debt workouts or creditor negotiations is highly preferred.
• Experience with Clio Manage or NextChapter is a plus.
• Tax negotiation or Consumer Fraud Act experience is a plus.

• Prepare and respond to Rule 2004 subpoenas and related filings.
• Negotiate out-of-court debt settlements with creditors.
• Handle litigation matters related to bankruptcy and debt resolution as assigned.
• Communicate regularly with clients, trustees, creditors, and opposing counsel.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Maintain organized case files while managing deadlines independently.
• Deliver practical legal guidance in a clear, client-friendly manner.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
