Kiernan Trebach LLP in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of Insurance Defense experience to join our civil litigation defense team in a hybrid work setting.

You will defend a variety of matters from inception to trial, handle motions, depositions, and trial preparation, and contribute to our culture of steady, sustainable growth. Virginia bar licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.).
• Active Virginia License (Preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in Insurance Defense.
• Experience with Employment Law and/or Healthcare Law.
• Experience with environmental and/or construction litigation.
• Experience writing motions and memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation is preferred.
• Ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters.
• Handle matters including General Liability, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.

We are seeking a new Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in Insurance Defense to join our team. Your role will be to defend a variety of matters in our growing Roanoke, VA practice.

Defend a Variety of Insurance Defense matters as well as:

• General Liability
• Personal Injury
• Product Liability
• Professional Liability

What You Will Bring

Our ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Experience with Employment Law and/or Healthcare Law.
• Experience with environmental and/or construction Litigation.
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation is preferred.
