Orion Placement in Nashville seeks an attorney to represent healthcare professionals and organizations in medical malpractice defense. The role involves drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and taking depositions while developing trial skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of legal experience, strong research and writing skills, and a drive for hands-on courtroom work. First year is on-site with potential hybrid flexibility after year one.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Ideal 2+ years of legal experience; less experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Civil litigation, insurance defense, professional liability, or medical malpractice defense experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Interest in developing hands-on litigation and courtroom experience.
• Ability to work in our Nashville office during the first year.

Location: Nashville, TN. This is an on-site opportunity during your first year, giving you valuable access to mentorship, collaboration, and hands-on litigation experience. Hybrid flexibility may be available after the first year.

Note: We're looking for attorneys with fewer than 6 years of experience, ideally 2 to 4 years. Previous medical malpractice defense experience is not required. We welcome candidates with different legal backgrounds who are excited to build a career in healthcare litigation.
